Latest
update to Google Map has given us one more reason to love it. Now it’s possible
to calculate distance between multiple points on the Map. It was available
earlier under the Google Labs option but now it’s a part of the main service.
To
use this just right click on the map at the start point and subsequently select
your path to see the distance between those points.
Google
has also added an option to drag an existing map point to measure the distance
from a pre-selected location to another. The feature also allows travellers to
twist and turn points to align them with streets on the map to get precise
measurements. This new feature is ideal for runners, cyclists, motorists who
want to create a real-world dot-to-dot that they can visit while traveling.
