Xiaomi introduced Mi 4 alongwith Mi Band

After a grand entry of Xiaomi in India, the Chinese smartphone company (aka Apple of China) has launched their next flagship device i.e. Xiaomi Mi 4. When Xiaomi launched their first Xiaomi Mi 3 it created a scenario that was earlier seen only with Moto phones. The phones disappeared from the shelves of Flipkart and even managed to crash the website.

The star of the day is Mi 4. Like Mi 3, its successor has pretty impressive specifications.
·        CPU : 2.5 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Chipset
·        RAM : 3GB
·        Storage : 16GB to 64GB internal (no microSD slot)
·        Camera : 13MP rear and 8MP selfie camera
·        Display : 5-inch Full HD
·        Battery : 3080mAh non-removable
·        Connectivity : 3G, LTE, IR blaster

Xiaomi has a history of launching a device with great specs at a low price and Mi 4 is no exception. It’s been launched at a price of CNY 1,999 (about ` 19,374) for 16GB and CNY 2,499 (about ` 24,220) for 64GB variant. If launched at this price in India it will give a tough competition to Moto X, HTC Desire 601 and Google Nexus 5 which are ruling this segment. It also features changeable back panels.

Also the company launched Mi Band. It acts as an ID authenticator, allowing the phone to be unlocked without a password. Also it can track your activity and also functions an alarm. It’s been priced ridiculously at a price of CNY 79 (about `780) whereas Sony SmartBand is available at `5,990 (about CNY 620).

Xiaomi and MIUI fans will probably wait for the phone to come to India as it is only released in China currently. Considering the massive response the Mi 3 got in India, Xiaomi would want to take maximum advantage of the market. So it might be soon enough it’s available on shelves in India.
