A few days back we confirmed about Motorola's plan for Android 4.4.4 KitKat updates for Moto E, Moto G and Moto X and now Motorola has confirmed that Moto G and Moto X wil be getting updates for Android L as well.
This news was first published by AnroidOrigin confirming the plans for Android L update as soon as it becomes available. This isn't the first time that the Android L update for Motorola's best selling smartphone i.e., Moto G and Moto X has made the headlines. Earlier Motorola Germany's facebook page confirmed the updates but Motorola's official page declined by saying that this is not company operated page.
They posted screenshots of their conversation with the Customer Support however they also said that they don't have information about Moto E, probably because it might be getting update to Android One which was announced for low-end smartphones during the Google I/O.
