After a big entry into the world of
Android by launching Nokia X series, Nokia launched an launcher for Android
called Z Launcher that works by learning from your
patterns. Its in pre-beta stage and is available only through its website not
on Google Play. You can give it a try by a quick sign up process on its website.
So what is there which makes it
worth an effort to use? Its the ability to learn which apps you used recently
and which you'll be using and presenting them to you right on the home screen.
It includes not only apps but also the contacts and internet history from the
browsers you use.
But its main feature is worth giving
a shot. By just drawing the letter of the app you require it brings up a list
of all the apps starting with that letter. So instead of scrolling through a
massive list of apps just a few gestures on the screen and its there right in
front of you.
The
pre-beta download is available for Android users running 4.1 or higher,
but has been optimized for the Moto X, Galaxy S5, S4, S3 and Nexus 5.
To
sign-up and give Z Launcher a shot, head over to this site.
