Nexus 9 and Android L possibly coming tomorrow with possible names of Dessert released

A recent news update gave an indication of Google unveiling the new Nexus devices on Wednesday, 15th October 2014. A report from Forbes tells us that Google will be launching the new Nexus devices on it's website rather than holding a big launch event as they are busy with tweaking of Android L.
Apparently it will be available for $399 and will start shipping starting 3rd November with pre-orders to start from 17th October. Launching just before Apple's event will put both the tablets in tough competition with each other and this fight will be fun to watch as Nexus 9 will probably be available through Google Play which is available only in 12 countries (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, India, Japan, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom, United States) and Apple will be shipping its tablets worldwide.
Now a new tweet from Sundar Pichai, VP Android is proving that news/leak to be true.
This tweet has a video showing the names that are under consideration for the next version of Android. Now why Sundar Pichai post a video of all the Android L names just when we get the news of the release of new Nexus devices and we all know that new Android comes with new Nexus devices.
Lemon Meringue Pie? Lava Cake? Lady Finger? Lemon Drop? Even Oreo? Nobody knows. But this video explains a lot more about which names can be possibly take the place of L. Also Giovanni Calabrese, the guy who builds famous statues for each Android build is out in Mountain View. On Google+ he teased of handing out licorice boxes. So can it be Licorice after all?
For some reason we think that Licorice may not be the name after seeing the video but why would he be messing around. Well it's not a long time to wait as it is in few hours we'll be getting the news of the new Nexus devices and the latest version of Android.
